Join us February 9th & 10th in California, PA for two days of engaging professional interactions! The meeting is being hosted by the Cal. U. Subunit of the PA Chapter of the American Fisheries Society on California University’s campus which overlooks the mighty Monongahela River. The theme of the meeting is Shared Waters. During the meeting, you will learn what fisheries professionals from across the Commonwealth & West Virginia are working on during the technical presentations and poster sessions. The many talks and posters will cover a myriad of topics ranging from the Dunkard Creek fish kill investigation and recovery to salmonid management and invasive species control. Additionally, don’t miss your opportunity to help guide the Chapters by participating in the business meetings. Also, enjoy conversations and interactions with meeting attendees at the social on Thursday night and three workshops on Friday. Finally, a student networking opportunity will be held on Thursday which will allow students to interact with professionals in the field from all sectors including private organizations and state and federal government agencies. *If you choose to participate in the workshops, please note that the $15 registration fee covers the cost of attendance for all four hours on Friday. Each workshop is two hours in length, and each participant must select two of the three workshops on the registration form so we can get an accurate estimate of attendees. *
