Join us February 11 & 12 in Selinsgrove, PA for two days of engaging professional interactions! The meeting is being hosted by Susquehanna University at the Degenstein Campus Center located in the center of Susquehanna University’s picturesque campus. During the meeting, you will learn what fisheries professionals from across the Commonwealth are working on during the technical and poster sessions. Talks and posters will cover a myriad of topics ranging from aquatic macroinvertebrate monitoring in the Susquehanna River to establishing a near shore Brown Trout Fishery in Lake Erie. Additionally, we are featuring the research of the Susquehanna River Heartland Coalition for Environmental Studies (to learn more about the mission of SRHCES visit their website). Don’t miss your opportunity to help guide the PA Chapter of the American Fisheries Society by participating in the Chapter business meetings, and enjoy conversations and interactions with meeting attendees at the social and workshop.
While on campus don’t forget to check out the Freshwater Research Laboratory which opened in May of 2015.
